With the potential to be the largest, strongest and most powerful muscle in the body, glutes are kind of a big deal. It’s important that we take full advantage of the potential power of our glutes for not only aesthetic reasons, but for the multiple health benefits experienced in addition to looking amazing. Because glutes are the largest muscle, extra attention is required in a training program when the goal is to grow the booty as fast as possible. The majority of people have a difficult time activating, thus, growing the glutes because of disuse, neglect and sitting for long periods of time. As a result, many become quad dominant and experience very little glute growth because of the lack of emphasis on glute activation and training style.
